8.17: Charlottesville Tap Room Closed Until 6 pm Saturday, August 19 for CLAW

The tap room will be closed during the day on Saturday, August 19 so we can prepare for Charlottesville Lady Arm Wrestlers (CLAW) to take over in the evening. Gates for the CLAW spectacle will open at 6:00 p.m. and the action will start at 8 p.m. During the event, beer service will only be outside. Standing tickets, sold at the door, will be $8. Ringside VIP tickets are $30 and available at https://www.facebook.com/clawville/

This final bout of the season will benefit Brave Souls on Fire, an organization dedicated to bringing forth the power of poetic (& artistic) expression by Spoken Word performance in order to combat stigma and offer hope to individuals with any form of mental illness. For more information on who they are and what they do, or to see videos of them in action, go here: https://www.facebook.com/bravesoulscville/

Presenting, Mr. Nice Guy! An IPA spiked with Virginia hemp terpenes provided to us by Drs. Michael Timko and Bryan Berger of Fiacre Enterprises. We took these organic hydrocarbons found in the essential oils of the hemp plant and added them cold-side to the finished beer with the intent of preserving their highly volatile aromas.
